The Fight Continues

Now is no time to let down your guard.  Do not be fooled by silver tongues.  Prez. BO's state of the union (if you could stay awake unlike Harry) if you bothered to watch it, was a rerun of his election speech.

Is health care dead?  Are regressives (my word for "progressives" who want to make us a banana republic) dead?  To the contrary.  BO is not giving up.  Regressives never do.  It does not matter that a majority of citizens of the United States do not want it.  It does not matter if it will be the brick that breaks the camel's back - or our financial bank in this case.

BO says he wants to work with the Republicans if only they would come up with a plan.  This guy is really disgusting.  Even for a  politician he has reached new lows in whining and lying.  There are plans for everything on the national Republican website.

To show just how willing he is to work with the opposition (over his dead body would he ever contemplate compromising on one of his out of the universe leftist programs) he went to the Republican Caucus earlier this week.

BO said he went to listen but spent the entire time lecturing, lying and whining.  What a surprise.

This week I also attended our county's Republican Caucus. I am now secretary of the County Party.  I would rather stay home and have the elected officials work for the benefit of we, the people.  Since this is not the case, I am trying to do my little part to get rid of the really bad ones.

I cannot stress enough how important it is for every citizen to get involved.  While many of us were working, paying our taxes, raising our families and trying to make our communities better, the regressives were plotting, scheming and planning a total take over of every facet of our lives.

There are a lot of good candidates who need our help.  Whether it is money, volunteering and/or writing letters to the editor and e-mails to our contacts, there is something you can do.  Thank you for being part of the solution.

Together We Can Retire Feingold

Congratulations to Senator Scot Brown who is the first Republican Senator in Massachusetts in over four decades. His best line, when asked during a debate about taking the late Senator Kennedy's seat, was that it was not Senator Kennedy's seat, it was not the democrats seat, it was the peoples seat. What would our country be like if all our elected officials felt that way.
For the first time since Prez. BO was elected I now have hope that the rational people in the United States have awakened from the dark spell his vacuous words cast over them and are ready to help take back our freedoms that have been eroding over the decades.

If an unknown state senator who was more than 30 points behind his democrat opponent several weeks ago can win in one of the most liberal states in the union, why not Wisconsin? What will it take?

First, we need a conservative candidate who believes in following the constitution, who honestly believes s/he is representing Wisconsin citizens, acts as if the money s/he is spending is his or hers own money and not an endless bank from a bunch of rubes out there in fly over country who are too dumb to know how to spend their own money. Perhaps we need you!

Secondly, the candidate needs money. The newly elected Senator Brown got most of his money from thousands of donors giving small amounts of money from all over the country. Best $50.00 I have spent in a long time.

Wisconsin Senator Feingold has millions of dollars to run negative ads that will be hard to match but the contender can have enough to win if thousands of state citizens are willing to part with 10 or 20 dollars for their future and the future of their children.

Thirdly, candidates need volunteers to get their message out. Now is the time for county caucuses across Wisconsin. Yes you are tired, yes, you hate politics, yes you are busy, blah, blah, blah. Stop waiting for other people to do it for you. If the well being of our state, if the well being of our country is of any importance to you, then do something about it. Stop balking and get involved.

Yes, I am taking my own advice. I became involved in our county's Republican Party. (We will not win if we start a 3rd party and split the vote). I am now a board member and will also be a delegate to the state convention. I have already addressed and stuffed hundreds of envelopes. This is not my favorite type of work but it needs to get done. If I do not do it will you do it for me?

I wish elected officials would be more responsible with our money. I wish there were more honest than corrupt politicians. But the reality is that our state is rife with corruption. The same is true with the federal politicians, but more so. They get money from all 50 states and if they run short they just print more and mortgage our children and grandchildren's future. What are we going to do about it? Ignore it or fight it?

Will you make time to be part of the solution? This is not full time work and only happens every two years. Between this and my tea party involvement, I have met some very nice people. It is a great way to channel my anger and frustration over the regressives determined to burden us with their vision of government crushing us.

Now, let's go out and give Feigold (or the fops in your state) his pink slip.

I Cannot Believe a Liberal Wrote This

People who have been watching the news this past week cannot help but be affected by the results of the 7.0 earthquake in Haiti.

The death toll, as yet imcomplete but estimated to be 50,000, is horrendous. The suffering is horrendous.

Led by the United States as usual, aid is pouring in. The US is doing air control from Arizona so planes can get on the ground in a timely and orderly manner which was not the case in the beginning.

The US is also sending in troops to try to keep the violence in check and establish some kind of order in a place that has never had much order.

It was reported that thugs were running around with machetes hacking anyone who had a morsel of food.

The Haitian government is in shambles but one wonders, if so many of their buildings had not been reduced to rubble, if it would have mattered.

As a child in grade school we learned that Hati was a poor country. If children in government schools today are still taught classes in world affairs (other than we are going to die from algore hysteria about man caused global warming) they will learn that Haiti is a poor country.

As a conservative I keep an open mind about good opinions from people no matter what their politics may be. Therefore I am linking to David Brooks, a writer for the New York Times who has written a thoughtful article, The Underlying Tragedy, about Hati.

He is now saying what many of us have thought for years but were always dismissed by regressives as being heartless racists.

It is worth reading and doing some real soul searching about acting in a more effective manner instead of the usual knee jerk reaction of continuing to throw feel good money at problems that money has not solved.

Union Version of Right to Work

“Just recently, UAW union president Ron Gettelfinger angrily lashed out at the National Right to Work Foundation during a nationally televised press conference on the automotive crisis.

He is steaming mad the union bosses have not been able to get their hands on our contributor list, and he hinted that he will ask now his political cronies to help him.

Union lawyers have served National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation attorneys with papers indicating they will seek a court order to obtain the names and addresses of our financial supporters -- with the ultimate goal to shut us down.”

The above is part of a notice from the National Right to Work Foundation.

Union membership has been dropping in the private sector and rising in the government sector. This is where all the new jobs this president is bragging about, are coming from.

Liberals have always been in the pocket of big labor and this president is no different. He met with union leaders because they are unhappy with the proposed taxes on “Cadillac” health plans which most union members have.

Evidently we are supposed to be concerned that “rank and file” union workers will be hit hard by this tax even though several unions, such as the longshoremen union have already been exempted leaving the rest of us to carry their load too.

What a dilemma for Prez. BO. We all know this “health care bill” is nothing more than an opportunity for the regressives to realize their 100 year dream of total government control over we, the unimportant (except to pay the bills for their unquenchable thirst for power and out of control spending) citizens, legal and more importantly, illegal.

Even more implausible is that union bosses give a rip about the “rank and file.” They only care their workers keep paying their dues so they can continue to use their gestapo tactics to get fellow regressives elected and beholden to the unions.

More from Mark Mix of the Right to Work Foundation.

“They're enraged by the progress we've made in defending rank-and-file workers from forced unionism abuses.

The last time they tried this attack, the union lawyers finally admitted they wanted to send the contributor list to local union chiefs all over the country. They wanted to make 'discreet inquiries' about the contributors in their areas. You know what that means.”

Prez. BO, as I mentioned in an earlier blog, wants a private army as powerful as the United States Military. He already has one with the union boss thugs.

All he has to do is deputize them so their gestapo methods of getting people to comply are legal.

Fighting Terrorists With the Global Warming Hoax

Regressives are not only self-centered narcissistic dolts, they are incredibly arrogant. Most of all, they are dangerous to all living creatures.

Today Fox News did a report saying that our spy satellites. which are supposed to be watching things such as terrorist camps and other suspicious activities going on around the globe, have been repositioned to watch the movement of icebergs and wildlife to see the effects of man caused global warming on animals and the icebergs.

A spokesperson for these eco-terrorists said that knowing how the nature of our earth changes would actually make it easier to catch terrorists. She tried to link the two together saying that if we know how polar bears or seals move it will help us understand how terrorists move.

Evidently they were looking at this useless garbage when Clinton was president because the report said this practice was stopped during the Bush administration but now has started up again.

Guest, John Bolton, said he always thought there were not enough spy satellites and having them repositioned so algore and his koolaid drinking groupies could gather good information that the globe is warming and we are causing it is dangerous.

How on earth can anyone take these ignorant, self-absorbed fools seriously? Every time an ecoterrorist stands up to speak they lie. Indirectly, their ignorant meddling into the way the world works is as dangerous to the living as Islamic terrorists.

Getting reliable information about how our world works should be left to intelligent adults without a tree hugging agenda.

As one example of their warped sense of importance, co-terrorist ignorance is causing children to go hungry because they have put farmers out of business by denying them needed water to farm to benefit a 2 inch fish.

If they continue to be allowed to wag the dog with their ill thought out theories backed up with made up statistics we will continue to see our productive way of live dry up as surely as California farmers water.

There has been a lot of talk about the failed attempt of the Christmas Muslim Terrorist to blow a plane out of the sky. Until this administration can write a report about this failed attempt that actually uses the word terrorist, they will be reluctant to turn the spy cameras back to finding terrorists.

Pres. BO says, about this most recent botched attempt to fight man caused buildings to crash and planes to fall out of the skies, “The buck stops here.”

Unfortunately, so has a serious attempt by him to fight terrorism which gets in the way of his plans to completely wreck our country with his own narcissistic regressive plan.

Government Schools Civic Classes

Our large city government schools will not improve until we, the taxpaying citizens and parents assert our authority and kick out the federal government and the national teachers union.

When I was in grade school we had to know the states, their capitols and their main source of income such as agriculture from potatoes to pineapple, manufacturing, tourism, etc.

In high school every student was required to take civics courses to learn how various governments, from city to federal, were supposed to work. We had mock council meetings, visited various city departments and were tested on our knowledge of the subject.

Unfortunately, too many of our school systems today have deviated from the basic requirements of knowing what governments are supposed to do and what they are actually doing. The majority of inner city students come from and environment who depends upon the government for their food, housing, health care and babysitting. As long as the checks come and the services are provided, government is good.

Classes, such as being sensitive to the pain and suffering white men perpetrated on everyone else, start at preschool and do nothing to end dependence on government which is the way the regressives like it.

Sensitivity classes are important to better appreciate minority groups that are misunderstood and exploited by racist, small minded citizens who tend to “cling to their bibles and guns,” according to our current president who made that open minded statement in that bastion of American tolerance city, San Francisco.

Religious tolerance is a major part of schools curriculum today. Children take Muslim names, dress as covered Muslims (except for the boys who are learning about the sensitivity of all humans such as females, and acceptance of all religions in their mock madrases). They take their little prayer rugs and kneel down and pray six times a day. As long as it is not to a Christian God, prayer is acceptable.

I wonder if the boys and girls are separated as they are in real mosques?

Starting in kindergarten students are taught though library books and class projects that two mommies or two daddies are as natural as a female mother and a male father. They learn how to choose the best condom, how to use them (and I used to like bananas) and other aspects of sexuality and human gratification too important to be left to parents and even worse, the church.

Schools have on campus nurseries so teenage mothers can continue their education. Perhaps they should repeat that condom course with the banana. Judging these children who have children is narrow minded.

Enlightened people know single mothers are just as capable at parenting and raising productive children as a man and woman though every study proves the opposite.

Never mind the fact that single parent households, who are not movie stars or heiresses, swell the ranks of children living in poverty and are most likely to perpetuate generational welfare.

Today's government schools idea of civics is teaching children how to picket for higher taxes, write letters to elected officials whining about how their teachers will be forced into the food stamp lines if those evil, wildly rich homeowners do not cough up more money.

The most important civics lesson is that they, the students, are not responsible for their actions. It is the village who is supposed to make sure they turn out okay.

Citizens: Take Back Your State Rights

During a recent discussion with friends I said if I was the governor, for starters, I would refuse any federal educational funding so we are not obliged to continue the illusion that with all the federal interventionist strings attached to the money, we are educating our Wisconsin students, especially in our larger school districts; specifically Milwaukee.

We feed them, council them, hand out condoms, bus them, have class after class on pressing social issues such as having two mothers or fathers, make them watch algores mythical movie that has made him a millionaire at the very least, but do not teach them basic educational skills.

What our schools help perpetrate is generational welfare.

The school districts continue whining about the lack of money for these students, schools threaten to close down popular programs and the teachers prod their students to whine to their parents about how desperate the situation is so be sure to vote yes for never ending, never enough tax hikes.

If throwing massive amounts of money at Milwaukee schools actually helped, they would not have a failed school system. They would have graduates who spoke understandable English (this includes American born children) and were qualified to go to college, a tech school or into some sort of vocational training program or apprenticeship.

The fact that the teachers union, the regressive school board and regressive state assembly have no creative ideas and continue using their tired no money ploy is reason enough to stop taking federal money that allows the tail (unions) to keep wagging the dog.

Someone mentioned the unions would never go for not accepting federal money to which I answered, “Screw them.”

Refusing federal money would also mean we would not send money to them to pay for the bloated, ineffective and inefficient Department of Education.

Without the feds calling the shots we could expand innovative and proven effective programs such as charter schools and home schooling. We might even allow parents who (gasp) educate their own children keep some of their tax money they still must pay to schools even though their children do not attend them.

Without the insidious teachers union making sure they are well compensated and job protected, including the bad teachers and the sexual predator teachers, our state could once again take control of its own destiny instead of whatever the party in power in DC determines what is good for us.

Granted, we need a good state government to have good schools, but without outside scapegoats people might actually start taking the responsibility entrusted to them seriously.

It is time citizens demand their state take back the rights that they have ceded to the feds. Stop taking the money (that we send them in the first place and depending on the state, get less back) and start taking responsibility for our own.

As an extra bonus, the federal government will not have the money to waste on themselves and their special friends. It is past time for grownups to take control and it is obvious we do not have many grownups in government who give a flying fig about the people they misrepresent. It is up to the citizens who pay the bills to demand their voices be heard.
